[WES] Mists Bardic

Do you ever wish a feast could come with marvelous ongoing bardic entertainment? This one will! Come gather in the feast hall to witness (or participate in) the battle of wits and words, of story and song that will determine who the next Bard of the Mists shall be. You won’t be bored!

As per tradition, the bardic competition shall be composed of five parts:

- A period piece (documentation should be brief but convincing)
- An original piece in a period style (documentation should be brief but convincing)
- Masterwork – a piece to highlight what you do best
- Bard’s Challenge: Original piece to inspire the populous to improve our society some way
- The famed Three Words Out of a Hat / Fifteen Minutes challenge

Depending on time and the number of competitors, auditors (those wishing to try their bardic skill without formally competing for the position of Bard) may be welcome. The populous is particularly encouraged to try their hands—or pens—at the 3 Words/ 15 Minutes challenge!

Site Fee: Members: $10, Non-Members: $15, Children 6-12: $4, Children 5 and under: free. The feast will be $11. Please make checks out to “SCA- Principality of the Mists”.

Green Brewet of Eggs and Cheese (Green Egg and Cheese soup)

Ung Haricot de mouton (Lamb stew)
