[DRA] Flintheath Yule Ball!

Winter is Coming to Insulae Draconis! Have your field harvested, your grain stored, your mead made, your cattle and sheep in their barn - for there is a long cold winter ahead. But at least there is one thing to look forward to in this dark time

*Flintheath Yule Ball!*
*Saturday 1st December 2012*

This year the theme will be 'Ice'. For the ball in the evening we would love to see garb of this theme – whites, blues and silvers. (Obviously not compulsory – we don't expect you to make a complete new set of garb – but if you happen to have it this would be lovely.)

As in past years the Holly King will be distributing Yule gifts – we ask that if possible attendees bring a small gift to exchange. This can be something made or something bought.

Saturday's events include Armoured Combat, Rapier Combat, Arts and Science, and Dance classes.

If you are interested in Archery (and have a handy Archery Marshal) please contact the Event Steward. A 'populace choice' Arts and Sciences competition will be held with extra points awarded by the event team for entries fitting the 'Ice' theme. There will be an amazing progressive timeline feast by Lady Kathryne Gordon and the Ice Ball in the evening hosted by Baroness Margaret de Mey.
