"I am a knight. I'm trying to be that symbol of something that is incorruptible... and never to fail my duty, which is to be a knight and be good and be an example," said Quebec resident Vincent Gabriel Kirouac about his cross-Canada right to promote chivalry.
The 22-year-old is crossing the country on horseback from his home in Quebec to the west coast, with a short break across the Rocky Mountains, where horses are not allowed on the highway. "It's been going very good," Kirouac told CBC Radio host Craig Lederhouse from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. "Since the beginning I've never been sleeping outside. People in Canada have been very hospitable."
