[AET] Fireside Feast

Brisk fall air, the sound of combat rings in the distance … the smell of food mingled with wood smoke wafts through the air. It's not just fanciful imagery, it's the theme of the Shire of Sunderoak's upcoming event.

Ever wanted to try to cook over an open fire? See it done? OK, just eat some really good food? Here is your chance.

The Shire of Sunderoak invites you to join us as we spend the weekend of August 31 - September 2 creating a Fireside Feast at Breakneck Campground (1757 Cheeseman Road, Portersville, PA. 16051)

Saturday will be filled with the opportunity to take open air cooking classes. Any who wish to join us for the evening meal may bring supplies and prepare your own gastronomical delight over an open fire or bring a prepared dish from home. Modern fare as well as period food is welcome. Fire pits and wood will be provided for those cooking on site. Limited ironware and spits will be available - please contact Katla to inquire or reserve.
