Otto der Schwarzherz & Elisée de Calais, Baron and Baroness of al-Barran, invite all near and far to join them as they celebrate this joyous yuletide season at al-Barran's Midwinter & War Practice.
In honor of Chaucer's "The Canterbury Tales," Otto and Elisée bid all to come and share a tale for the entertainment of their populace – and the possibility of a free meal! The winner of the bardic competition will, in true Chaucer fashion, have their feast on us.

From I-25: Take the Montgomery exit (Exit 228). On Montgomery, go east approximately 2.5 miles. Shortly past Louisiana, site is on the north side of the road.
From I-40: Take the Louisiana exit (Exit 162). On Louisiana, go north approximately 2.5 miles to Montgomery. Turn right (east) onto Montgomery. Site is located on the north side of the road.

From I-40: Take the San Mateo exit (Exit 161). Go north on San Mateo approximately 1.5 miles. Turn east onto Ponderosa. Park is on south side of the road.
