[OUT] Pageantry in the Hills

Their Excellencies of Fontaine dans Sable, Estevan and Emily, cordially invite one and all to join them for a day of heavy weapons fighting and fun on July 14, 2012.

Sir Tam MacGrimm has recently discovered a piece of land that we would like to use for future events and this is the test run!  This is in no way an "official" event, but we are instead moving our fighter practice to this location and holding a couple of excellent heavy weapon tourneys!

Not interested in heavy fighting? Come anyway and enjoy the day with your favorite Fontainese!  Rapier fighters! While we will not be having any rapier tournaments, bring your gear and I personally guarantee that you will get your fill of fighting before the day is through!

*Tournament Formats:*

The first tourney is more of a melee and will be fought on teams over rugged terrain.  For those who are familiar with the "Rok Tourney" of old, that is exactly what you are in for!

The second tourney is a tournament that will take place in our list field...the more fighters the better!

Site opens--8:00 AM
List opens--9:00 AM
Lord Rok Tournament--10:00AM
Donation Lunch --12:00
Heavy (list field) tourney 1:00 PM
Court at Their Excellencies' discretion

*More Details:*

Once we are done fighting, many of us will be heading into town to enjoy dinner together. All are welcome to join us!

Your opinion of the site will also be most welcome!!!  We would love to hear your ideas on what kinds of steps will need to be taken to make this land a fully usable event site! Rumor has it that we may one day be able to build a castle on site!

There will be privs!
A donation  lunch will be provided!

There is no site fee as this is not a true event, but we will accept donations to help cover our costs!

So come on up and join Their Excellencies and the rest of Fontaine, as we come together for a day of fun and find out if this site is strong enough to support the mightiest Kingdom in the Known World...the OUTLANDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
