NEW LOCATION!!! We have Air Conditioning!!!!
Boone County Fairgrounds, 1601 Industrial Park Road  Boone, IA 50036

NEW THIS YEAR!

  • New location!  Plenty of air conditioned space available.
  • Feast!  We will be having a feast this year.
  • Inn!  We will have a noon-time inn on site (in the air conditioning).

Activities

  • Populace Street Battle: 3nd annual!  All ages welcome for this unarmored boffer battle!  Make and bring your own boffer weapons!
  • Equestrian: Many interesting scenarios.
  • Combat: Many scenarios, more info to come
  • Archery:  Varied shoots more info to come
  • Arts and Science Competition, Heraldic Display Competition,Youth Activities and more!
  • Camping

This is a camping event!  Tent camping is FREE on site!
Trailer and Camper camping available for a small fee across the street from the grounds.

    Take your best route to I-35 N towards Des Moines
    Take exit 127 for IA-141 W toward Urbandale/Grimes
    Turn right onto IA-141 W/NW 114th St Continue to follow IA-141 W
    Take exit 146 to merge onto IA-17 N/NW 142nd St toward Madrid/Boone
    Continue to follow IA-17 N
    Turn left onto 210th St
    Continue onto Mamie Eisenhower Ave (E 4th St)
    Turn right onto Benton St (there is a stoplight)
    Turn right onto Industrial Park Rd
    Destination will be on the left

From I-35 North:

    Take your best route to I-35 S towards Ames
    Take exit 111B to merge onto U.S. 30 W toward Ames
    Take exit 137 for IA-17
    Turn right onto IA-17 N/S Ave
    Continue to follow IA-17 N
    Turn left onto 210th St
    Continue onto Mamie Eisenhower Ave (E 4th St)
    Turn right onto Benton St (there is a stoplight)
    Turn right onto Industrial Park Rd
    Destination will be on the left

From US 30 East or West:

    Take your best route to US 30 towards Boone.
    Take exit 137 for IA-17
    Turn right onto IA-17 N (S Ave)
    Continue to follow IA-17 N
    Turn left onto 210th St
