With war behind us we are left with a hollow lonely feeling in our hearts, not to mention some knots and bruises in our muscles. Come join us in Windale on April 14, 2012 we can’t help with the knots and bruises, but we can help lift your spirits with some great spoofs on some well known games.
We will have a hobby horse joist, a scavenger hunt, cattle raid and of course the tossing of the sheep. With the coming of spring also comes time to tend the crops, so you can expect that our hardsuit tourney will once again involve farming utensils. There will also be games for the little ones.
There will be a silent auction with wares donated by some of our very talented local artisans. Our event has something for everyone and promises laughs or at least giggles for all. There will also be a Lunch Tavern of a meat pie, fruit and a drink for only 5.00. This wondrously fun event will be held in Metcalfe Park, which has beautiful mature trees to block that occasional breeze that we get. There is a fenced in play ground to help keep those little ones corralled. There is crash space available for those wishing to stay the night. So please come and join us for some completely not serious good times.
