[AET] Spring Coronation

The Shire of Sylvan Glen proudly invites one and to all the Spring Coronation of Andreas and Kallista to be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (1707 Old Leetown Pike, Kearneysville, WV) April 13-15, 2012.

This three day camping event in celebration of our new monarchs will offer the shire's renowned Traveler's Repast, a torchlight tourney, lawn games, and a bardic circle on Friday evening. Saturday will feature breakfast and a lunch sideboard at no additional cost. Activities for the day will include morning and evening court, heavy fighting, archery, thrown weapons, rapier, more lawn games, an A&S display with the theme "Bounties of the Forest" , and children's activities. We will also be hosting the Thrown Weapons Championship at this event.

This site is handicap accessible and discretely damp. Pets are welcomed. Ground fires are prohibited except in the bardic circle -  but fire pits are permissible. There is plenty of camping with access to water and electricity. For those wishing to attend but not camp, there are several hotels and motels in the area. The site fee for adults is $12 for pre-registration which is strongly encouraged, especially for those wishing to participate in the feast. At the gate, the site fee for adults is $13. Children 6-17 are $5 and children 5 and under will be guests of the shire. There is a $5 surcharge for non-members so please be sure to bring proof of membership. Family cap is $36 for pre-reg and $39 for non-pre-reg which excludes non-member surcharges. Feast will be $8 for adults and $4 for children 6-17. Children 5 and under eat as guests of the shire.
