Who's Buried in St. Mark's Tomb?

A British historian is claiming that St. Mark's Tomb in Venice contains not the bones of the saint but those of Alexander the Great.

Alexander the Great expert Andrew Chugg has enraged many of the devout with his claim that the remains of the 4th century B.C.E. conqueror are buried in St. Mark's Tomb in Venice. Chugg believes that Alexander's bones were disguised as those of St. Mark to save them from a Christian uprising. The details will be disclosed in a forthcoming book, The Lost Tomb of Alexander the Great.
