SCAdians familiar with Jouissance, an early music ensemble whose members have played at various An Tir events, will be able to see them in a non-SCA setting at the Portland, OR 2002 Christmas Revels December 6-15. Early music ensemble Jouissance will be only one of several musical groups to be featured at the Portland Revels, an annual seasonal event with a medieval theme. This year's Revel, The King and the Fool, takes attendees to the court of Henry V who is just returned from Agincourt. The performance will be filled with music, revelry, dance and drama. The 75-member cast includes adult, teen and children's choruses, Morris dancers, troubadors and mummers.
