[DRA] St Ethelburga Feast and Ball

Pray Ye Gather! The Shire of Thamesreach is pleased to host this event in the medieval church of St Ethelburga, named for the 7th c abbess based in Barking.

Join us for a day of dance instruction, fine food and an evening ball, with live music provided by renowned medieval musicians Gaïta.

Includes an afternoon of dance instruction, a buffet meal, and evening ball.

Site is discreetly wet; BYO and use suitable glasses, cups and carafes.
We regret: No pets, no paid childcare service.

Attendance limited to 60 people – don’t leave this reservation to the last minute. The only good reservation is a paid reservation!

Paying within Insulae Draconis: Event staff will accept payment at coming principality events  such as Harplestane’s Dance Moot and the spring Coronet Tournament.

Guests from outside the ‘Pound Zone’ can pay at the door, with travel detail confirmation.

For attendees within London: public transport is recommended. This venue is 200 metres from Liverpool Street station (Tube, bus and trains). See www.tfl.gov.uk for details.

Liverpool Street serves several east coast routes, and Stansted Airport. Check www.nationalrail.co.uk for best routes.

This site has no dedicated parking. If you want to use a car the nearest car park is the NCP – London Rodwell House in Strype Street, London E1 7LF (020 7247 7923). The loading bay directly outside the church is available for a maximum of 20 minutes for deliveries and pick-ups. The site is fully accessible.
