Melee in the Park

Lebanon Memorial Park, 130 E. Ulen Dr., Lebanon, IN 46052

The Incipient Shire al Safa and the Barony of Sternfeld present "Melee in the Park". Come join us for a day of fighting and fencing. It will even be a great day to be in the park working on A&S activities - show off your crafts! There are lots of trees, but sunshades are welcome.

Site Fee: $3.00 per person, $5.00 max per family, children under 12 are free. A $5.00 merchant fee will be charged all vendors; bring your own tables. Merchants should contact Baroness Maddalena at seamstress@insightbb.com if they have questions.

Our "feast" will include hamburgers and hot dogs (prepared by our very own wienie-o-crat, Countess Kenna), and comes with the low-priced site fee. Please bring your own side dishes (chips, fruit, etc) and non-alcoholic beverages. (The park is a DRY site).

Since this is public park, we expect that there may be a number of curious onlookers, so please be prepared. Pets on leashes are welcome. The park has a nice public outdoor pool, open from 9am - 7pm, and only costs $2.00/person (paid at pool, not troll). The pool also has showers.

Tentative Schedule:

8:00 am - park opens
9:00 am - troll "opens"
10:30 am - inspections/authorizations
11:30 am - novice "speed" tourney (dependent on numbers)
12:00 pm - melees begin (bridges, field, other scenarios)
