Good news for Pennsic 41: No more one-lane bridge

Throughout time immemorial, Pennsic-goers have contended with the traffic pileups at a one-lane bridge on Currie Road leading to the event site. That bridge is, finally, being replaced in the spring of 2012.

Fred Brezel, staff member at Cooper's Lake Campground, wrote the following in the Cooper's Lake Campground newsletter:

"The good news is the one lane bridge on Currie Road leading to the campground is being replaced. The bad news is it will be done the spring of 2012 and the bridge will be closed for up to 3 months. Due to the construction we have decided not to open for general camping until Memorial Day."

Mr. Brezel indicated that AEthelmearc War Practice, which is scheduled for the weekend before Memorial Day, will go on as scheduled.
