The Shire of Darach is happy to announce the return of our famed weekend event, Black Oak Lodge, March 16-18, 2012!

We cordially invite you to join us as we partake of the heady, exotic delights found only in a Persian Paradise.

As always, our oasis will include enclosed accommodations (cabins) for two nights with all meals from Friday evening to Sunday morning provided in the feast hall.

Saturday's diversions shall include:

  • Various classes and artistic endeavors
  • Scriptorium
  • Bardic Competition
  • Afternoon Tea and Knitting Circle
  • Heavy Weapons, Rapier and Thrown Weapons Tourneys

Saturday evening:
We shall feast on the finest Persian cuisine prepared for us by the most exquisite and gifted Dame Selene Colfox 

Afterward to be tantalized by the tasty tidbits prepared by the entrants of our traditional Lady Kaarna Memorial Purple Dessert Contest

Followed by the judging of entries in our Brewer's Guild sponsored cordial contest.

We will end the evening by fireside with music, dance, song and revelry (Weather permitting; otherwise we will adjourn to the indoor fireside venue)

Weekend fee is $60 per member if postmarked on or before January 15, 2012 ($65 after)
Day Tripping fee is $25 per member if postmarked on or before January 15, 2012 ($30 after)

Weekend fee Children 6-15 is $40
Day Tripping fee for children 6-15 is $15
