[DRA] Insulae Draconis Coronet Tournament

The Shire of Harplestane is delighted to invite one and all to Insulae Draconis’ Fifth Coronet Tournament.

This event shall be held at The Craigs Scout Campsite (The Craigs, Broompark, Torphichen, West Lothian, EH48 4NL, UK. Grid Reference: NS 963 722), on the weekend of 17 to 19 February, 2012.
Site opens at 5pm Friday 17 Feb with a Tavern Revel, and closes at noon on Sunday 19 Feb.

NO pets are allowed on site, and the site has a fairly strict smoking policy (limited to an area near the gate). Candles are fine and the site is wet. The site has 57 bunks (no bedding) in two buildings, showers, and toilets. Most of the site is handicap accessible, but please mention any requirements you have at booking.

Travel information: The site is approximately halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow.  Pickups will be arranged from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and Linlithgow Rail Station (which is on the main train line between Edinburgh and Glasgow), for a reasonable fee and at reasonable times. Attendees wishing to fly through one of the Glasgow Airports are encouraged to make their way to Linlithgow by rail (if flying into PIK) or bus and rail (if GLA), as these are approximately an hour’s drive (each way) from the site. Sadly, there is no public transportation to the site.

Cost information:
Full site fee (including a bunk, all meals, and Feast on Saturday): 40 GBP.
Staying offsite: 25 GBP.
Youth (6 to 14): 20 GBP
Child (5 or under, no bunk but all meals): Free
Children 5 and under in their own bunk will also be charged 20 GBP for the weekend.
