[CAI] Collegium Caidis & IKINS

Collegium Caidis: Devoted to providing low cost and high quality classes, taught by SCA members for SCA members.  At the same site and same time, the Inter-Kingdom Intensive Needlework Symposium (IKINS) will be providing advanced classes on embroidery-related topics.

Next session: April 14 & 15 2012

Registration for Collegium begins at 8 AM both days, with no pre-registration accepted. Registration for IKINS is ONLY by pre-registration.  Classes for both start at 9 AM both days. Classes conclude at 6 PM on Saturday and 4 PM on Sunday.

Registration Fees for the entire weekend of classes/workshops - one fee covers both events.

Adult: $15.00
Minors, ages 11-17: $10.00
Minors, ages 10 and under: Free
Non-member surcharge: $5.00
Instructors at the current session receive a $5.00 discount.

Collegium Caidis: Planting learning in Caid, one seed at a time. All students will pay the registration fee at the gate, and proceed directly to the classes of their choice. Classes with limited space will be filled on a first come/first serve basis. Class list will be available at http://www.collegiumcaidis.org/ but may not be posted yet.

IKINS: There will be teachers from the Middle Kingdom and the West Kingdom as well as some of our own Caidan experts teaching advanced needlework, intermediate bobbin lace, and glovemaking. Registration for IKINS will be limited and required in advance; if you are interested in this please join the yahoo group at : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IKINS/  for further information.  Some classes require pre-work before the event.


Bring note-taking supplies for all classes. Pay particular attention to any special student needs suggested by the instructor in the class descriptions.
