A Tournament of Roses 12.30 to 4.30 pm
A deed of arms, where prowess and chivalry will be displayed in honour of the ladies of the Barony Ynys Fawr.
As a condition of entry each combatant shall bring at least two items of personal heraldic display.
(For example: a painted shield; a banner; a tabard etc).
We ask that all combatants come arrayed with a pair of matched weapons.
The Dice of Death A round robin tournament where on the roll of the dice the Ladies of the Court decide the choice of weapons.
At the completion of each bout a rose will be presented to a lady of the victors choosing.
The top five combatants will progress to the next tournament.
Tournament of the Silver Rose This tournament will be fought as a single kill double elimination tournament whereby the overall winner of the combat will be rewarded with a token to present to their consort.
Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch.
Fiesta del Amor 5.30 to 11.00 pm
A hearty tavern feast to celebrate great deeds of prowess and chivalry conducted during the day. For your entertainment we offer a telling of a tale of courtly love.
A&S: Baroness Stella de Ravenscar
The A&S competition for this feast will be a dessert or "sweet meats". As this feast is a celebration of courtly love, those who can link their dish to that theme would be highly regarded.
