Sigurdsson spoke with his Icelandic countrymen about eating the traditional Viking foods during the midwinter feasting festival of Thorrablot. These include such delicacies as sheep heads and testicles, fermented shark meat, and Brennivin, "a signature liquor in Iceland that is also referred to as the 'Black Death' due to its color."
