[OUT] Here There Be Dragons!

The Shire of Plattefordham wants to extend an invitation to all for our grand event.....Here There Be Dragons! Come and join us for tournaments, melees, both heavy and light. If you wish to participate in a river battle then come and see who is tough enough to stay dry.

After several more tourney's there will probably be a small court at there Majesties whim,  and then the wonderful Smiling Bull is preparing a feast for all to enjoy. Feast reservation's are going fast as we only have 80 seats for the meal. Please e-mail exchequerplatte@yahoo.com soon so we can make sure you are on the reservation list.

Friday night there will be a complimentary chili dinner hosted by Bran Ironskull. Please get your reservations in for this as well. exchequerplatte@yahoo.com. There are no food vendors here but Glenrock is about 5 miles away and the have a little grocery store.

The Shire of Plattefordham will be providing firewood for all who need it free of charge.

There are a few rules as follow: Pets must be on leashes at all times. There is potable water. Fire pits must be off the ground by 6” And most importantly, site is discreetly wet!

Fee for adults is 10 for site and 10 for feast Fee for 6-12 is 5 for site and 5 for feast 5 and under get in free.

Time: Opens at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, closes 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2011

Mundane site location: South Rec Complex, Glenrock, Wy 82637

Directions to site: from the south, take I-25 to exit 160. Continue west for approximately 4 miles. Turn left (south) on Mormon Canyon Road. Follow this road south until it passes under I-25. Turn right on the first road. Follow this road west into the site (approximately 3/4 of a mile). From the north take I-25 to exit 165. Turn left (north) at the exit. Continue into Glenrock to the 4 way stop sign (4th & Birch). Turn right (east) and go approximately 1/3 of a mile. Turn right (south) onto Mormon Canyon road. Follow this road south until it passes under I-25. Turn right on the first road. Follow this road west into the site (approximately 3/4 of a mile). Signs will be posted.
