"We're looking to make Latin available to everyone who wants to study it," said Will Griffiths, director of the Cambridge School Classics Project which produces the courses in partnership with Cambridge University Press and Granada Learning.
New Source for Latin Study Delights British Schoolchildren
The Cambridge Online Latin Project is giving thousands of British
schoolchildren the chance to study Latin and making them enjoy the experience.
In England, as in other countries, finding qualified instructors for the
classics is a difficult task, but the birth of the Cambridge Online Latin
Project is now helping solve the problem. No longer a boring test of wills
between pupil and teacher, the new course is getting kids excited about Latin
and Roman studies through interactive lessons based on real people.
"We're looking to make Latin available to everyone who wants to study it," said Will Griffiths, director of the Cambridge School Classics Project which produces the courses in partnership with Cambridge University Press and Granada Learning. |
