Was Michelangelo Autistic?

MSN: Experts who analyzed the behavior of Renaissance master Michaelangelo now believe that he may have suffered from Asperger's disorder, a high-functioning form of Autism. A report in the "Journal of Mediecal Biography" suggests that Renaissance master Michelangelo may have suffered from Asperger's disorder, a form of Autism that does not affect intelligence but does affect relationships to others.

"He was a loner, self-absorbed, and gave his undivided attention to his masterpieces -- a feature of autism," writes lead researcher Muhammad Arshad, PhD, a psychiatrist at Five Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust in Great Britain.
