Bury Mount wins British renovation award

In the 12th century, Bury Mound, in Northamptonshire, England, held a castle. Now the vacant mound has become the country's best renovation project for 2011.

The Museums and Heritage Award 2011 was given to Bury Mount and the nearby Water Meadows park for the project which includes stabilization of the mound, creation of an access ramp, and markers establishing a timeline for the site.
