Update: "Musketeer" Skeletons Include Female

Expatica: Six skeletons discovered in a garden in Maastricht, Netherlands, are much more modern than first believed and include the remains of a woman. When six skeletons were first discovered in a garden in the Dutch city of Maastricht, researchers speculated that they might have been musketeers killed in one of the many battles that took place in the city, but further research has proven that not to be the case. The remains are of five men and one woman between the ages of 15 and 59 and appear to be from 100 to 200 years old. A family grave has been ruled out since the deceased were not related.

Researchers from the Dutch Forensics Institute will continue to investigate.
