Glenn Linn is happy to host a new event, Arts and Arrows! We are holding several beginner A & S classes geared to suit new SCA folk and those a bit anxious about learning something new in addition to archery and heavy weapons tournaments!
CLASSES will be held rain or shine! Some of the great classes that are already scheduled are listed below. We have also scheduled a sing a long for those interested in learning and singing period songs.

There will be Royal Rounds for the ARCHERS as well as different novelty shoots: a William Tell Shoot, Fish in a Barrel and a Woods Shoot. Other novelty shoots are in the works. No clout is possible at this site, but a
competition to determine the Shire Champion is scheduled!! Please look on our site for the explicit rules and more information.

We are also trying to accommodate THROWN WEAPONS. It is possible that Royal Rounds for Thrown weapons will be added very soon to our listing.
Saturday Potluck DAYBOARD: starts at 11am. If you wish to bring a dish to share, it is greatly encouraged. Electric extension cords and power strips will be available for use. The kitchen is reserved for feast prep only.
Please remember we have fighters that expend a lot of energy when you choose to bring a dish. Our MIC offers that bacon is always appreciated.
Emma McTarran is the feastocrat for the Saturday evening FEAST! Feast begins at 6pm. She has prepared many a feast before and we are so happy to have her serving us again. Thank you, Emma. Outdoor play equipment is available for children to play on, but may be limited if the need arises due to weather and activities.
SITE RULES and AMENITIES: Please ensure that these site rules are followed, so that we may use this site again in the future.
- This site is discreetly damp, so please use period containers only.
- You MUST dispose of cigarettes appropriately. Cigarettes must NEVER be thrown into a fire pit.
- Please clean up your own waste. There is a large dumpster available near the parking area for this purpose. It will be clearly marked on your site map.
- Fire- Fires must be contained within a raised brazier or in the existing site fire circle only. There is NO digging allowed on site. Please have emergency distinguishing measures readily handy. No firewood is available for sale on site, but may be scavanged from the surrounding woods (down wood only).
- Pets- Dogs are allowed on site as long as all NY laws are followed (leashed and picked up after). There is a dumpster for disposal of pet waste. Non-compliance with this policy may result in the parties involved being
- asked to leave the site.
- Parking and Off-loading- After Trolling in, you can unload your vehicle and then please immediately move it to the designated parking area.
Children- For the safety of the children, we require that those under 6 be with a parent or guardian, and that children between the ages of 7 and 12 be within sight/sound of a parent or guardian at all times. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behavior of their children. Chronic non-compliance with this policy may result in the parties involved being asked to leave the site.
Also, Minors attending with an adult other than their parent or legal guardian are REQUIRED to present both a medical consent form and a minor's release form signed by their parent or legal guardian by the law of the East Kingdom and SCA, Inc. Weather- Mid May in the southern Adirondack Park can have extremes in temperatures. Average temperature: 56.6'F Record high: 68.7'F Low: 44.5'F For your own comfort, please pack with either of these extremes in mind.
Showers- There are indoor modern hot showers available for use. The site also has indoor flushy toilets!
Water- Potable water is located around the site, and will be indicated on the site map in your event program.

>From north of Glens Falls, NY: Take I-87 (Northway) south to exit 19, at end of exit ramp make a right onto Aviation Rd. Continue through 8 traffic lights (Aviation Rd becomes Quaker Rd). Turn left onto Meadowbrook Rd. Continue straight through the stop sign. The Girl Scout office is on the left, with the next driveway/opening in the woods on the left, being the event's site entrance. Green and white SCA signs will be posted.

The menu may be changed without notice at the Feastocrat's discretion.
