[WES] Oertha Summer Coronet Tourney and Investiture

Their Highnesses Kennric and Dagmar invite you to join them to witness the tourney to determine their heirs. In addition to the Oertha Coronet Tourney, there will be roses fighting for both heavy and rapier fighters.

After Roses, Mistress Tama will be hosting a rapier class, as well as fighting her rapier Provost prize.

THERE WILL BE NO FEAST OR MEALS PROVIDED by the autocrats at this event.
Please make plans accordingly. Also – this site is in bear country. Please keep a clean camp and keep food smells limited for everyone’s safety! There is a river nearby, please keep a close eye on children and pets for safety. Site is discretely wet.

Site fee is $15 for adult members ($20 for non-members); $10 for children age 6-12; children age 0-6 are free; family rate of $70. Checks should be made to “SCA Inc – Principality of Oertha”

Location: Eagle River Campground, Hesterberg Road, Eagle River, AK 99577.
Site opens Friday at noon and closes Sunday at 5 pm

Directions: From Anchorage, take the Glenn Highway to the Hiland Road exit (Mile 12) and follow signs to the Campground. Once in the campground, look for SCA signs to the site. From the north, take the Glenn towards Anchorage to the Hiland Road exit, then follow the signs.

Some additional notes: our site rental includes the group/public use area of the campground. Camping with the group in this area is included in your site fee. If you would prefer to camp in one of the Eagle River Campground individual campsites, that rental would be an additional cost. Advanced reservations for some of those sites are available through Lifetime Adventures, the campground managers. Their information is online at http://www.lifetimeadventures.net/campgrounds.html. Also, if you park in the campground's day use parking area, there is a $5 parking fee.

Any group or individual wishing to sponsor a fundraiser meal should contact the autocrats to prevent double-booking.
