Exhibit on Childhood in Ancient Greece Travels to Cincinnati

"Coming of Age in Ancient Greece: Images of Childhood from the Classical Past" will be at the Cincinnati Art Museum through August 1, 2004. The exhibit features more than 120 vases, terracotta figurines, statues, toys, baby feeders, and gravestones depicting children's household environments, as well as depictions of activities from play to schooling. The artwork explores the transition of children to adulthood in ancient Greece as well as images of children in Greek mythology.
