It is with great pleasure I announce the coming of our annual Gallow Games event! With the long winter months behind us we look forward to the summer ahead with games and feasting.
Our shire A&S competition is traditionally held at this time to allow us to compare what we have created during the long hours of winter eves. Any person not yet a member of the Order of the Laurel may enter into the competition. A minimum of three entries must be entered to compete for the shire's A&S championship. Documentation is highly encouraged.
This year we are to include a tournament to determine our shire's rapier championship. The rapier championship is closed to dons and knights. Also, there will be heavy weapons fighting. Among the festivities there will be various games for both young and old, everything from axe throwing, to a crossbow shooting gallery to “Whack-a-Gaul”, (You Gotta Be Here To See It!).
