The Barony of Black Diamond has the distinct honor and pleasure to invite one and all to pastoral lands near the "Kings Dominion" to bear witness to the most important and prestigious tournament held in our Kingdom - Their Majesties' Spring Crown Tournament.
Come enjoy the pageantry of the day at and view the contest for the greatest prize in the Known World, the right to wear the Crowns of Atlantia.
It is Their Majesties' intent to also hold a Curia.
Crown Tournament features armored combat that decides the next King and Queen of Atlantia.
The tournament format is double elimination with no thrusts permitted. The first round is to be seeded by Order of Precedence. The final round will consist of a best three out of five with no repeated weapons allowed. You do not have to be previously authorized in all weapons forms for competition in Crown.
The following requirements are waived for Crown List competitors. If you wish to request that any other requirement be waived, you will need to contact Their Royal Majesties personally.

Letters of Intent are to be received by no later than Saturday, April 23, 2011. Please see Kingdom law and Corpora to be certain you understand and comply with the necessary provisions. Letters may be sent via USPS mail or email. If you choose to deliver your letter in person, it is recommended that you send a copy via the above as it is very difficult to ensure that things do not get misplaced when handed over at an event.

Following the selection of Atlantia's newest heirs, His Majesty Michael will open the field to a Tournament of Chivalry. Bring your armor and take the field against members of the most noble Order of the Chivalry!
There will be a Tempore Atlantia competition held. The time period will be 1000 - 1250.
The Barony of Black Diamond will be sponsoring an inter-branch field display competition. All branches and baronies are encouraged to bring their best field presence to add to the festivities. Atlantian Roll of Arms Competition
Each Crown Tournament sees The Atlantian Roll of Arms Competition as sponsored by the Triton Herald's Office and this May is no exception! What is a Roll of Arms, you ask? Well, the online Encyclopedia Brittannica defines a Roll of Arms as "(an) illuminated manuscript describing (blazoning) and often illustrating (emblazoning) the arms of persons present at a particular battle or tournament."
The rules for the competition are simple. Using the registered heraldry for the combatants, prepare a manuscript depicting the entrants to Their Majesties' Crown Tournament, with the final pairing and the eventual Winner denoted. For example, your page might contain 14 small escutcheons (shield shapes) of all the entrants by rank, then 2 larger escutcheons of the finalists, with one even larger escutcheon of the winner, listing the names under each depiction. Illuminated poems or songs depicting the tourney progression are also legitimate entries!

A new twist to a medieval theme! An elegant, professionally prepared meal based on recipes from "A Form of Curie." will be provided by SAVOR, an on-site catering facility led by executive chef Michael Hayes. The cost for this meal will be $15.00 per seat. Menu information will be forthcoming shortly.
