The Physician's Handbook

The Wellcome Library of London, England, has created a digital version of one
of its manuscripts, "The Physicians Handbook," an English 15th century medical
and astrological compendium.
The handbook is unusual in that it is written almost entirely in English. This
manuscript gives unique insight into the medical culture of England in the
late Middle Ages.
