We have a needlework store in town, the Nordic Needle, which is internationally known. Silk thread, metallic thread, wool thread, needlework history books and pattern books can be found there. See their website www.nordicneedle.com to see what they have. There are also two yarn shops in Fargo which also sell spinning equipment and fibers, Prairie Yarns and the Boucle Yarn Studio. We have a couple bead stores, a Mill End Fabric store, Barnes & Noble, Tandy Leather, Hobby Lobby and others so by finishing before supper there will be opportunity to shop.
What classes will be presented? I'm so glad you asked! I am looking for teachers. If you would like to teach a class dealing with various types of embroidery, weaving, spinning, beading, knitting or other fiber art please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Classes can be hands-on or lecture. Teachers may charge a supply fee or ask students to bring their own supplies.
