SCA and MSR members extras for "Running Wilde"

Several SCA and MSR (Medieval Scenarios and Recreation) members were on hand recently to serve as extras at Sands Point Preserve in New York for a filming of the Fox television series Running Wilde. Farrah Weinstein of the Port Washington Patch has the story. (photos and video)

The scene involved a jousting tournament and included costumed local residents as extras. Actors Stefania Owen and Keri Russell later mingled with the crowd. It will air as part of Episode 7 of the series which runs on Fox Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m.
