[WES] Selviergard Samhein

Celebrate the last harvest of the season and the coming of the dark times…woooooo-hoo! The hobgoblins and little people will be about, and making merry with the traditions of the season. There will be a heavy weapons prize tourney, with an additional contest for the Most Realistic Death.  Additional fun will include a turnip lantern carving contest (Bring a turnip as only a limited few will be available).

Throughout the day, there will be a contest for the Best Scary Story or Poem (performance not required, but encouraged). Adults and Smalls are invited to Bob for Apples (prizes for the fastest times in multiple age categories).
The event will start in the morning around 8AM and end by 5PM.  Fighting will take place outside, so dress appropriately.  Site fee:  $5 for adults, $10 for non-members, children under 13 free.
As this is a day event, please bring a lunch and something to share if you so desire.  PLEASE NOTE: There are no cooking facilities available on site.  The site is dry; no alcoholic beverages on site please.
There is a possibility of a bardic or movie night afterwards.

Directions from Anchorage– Glenn Hwy towards Wasilla.  Take the Trunk Road Exit, RIGHT on Trunk Road, drive to Mile 2, and take a LEFT on College Drive.  Directions from Wasilla-   Palmer/Wasilla Hwy to RIGHT on Trunk Road, LEFT on College Drive.  Directions from Palmer– Palmer/Wasilla HWY to LEFT on Trunk Road, LEFT on College Drive.  Look for the signs.
