Monticello, the historic home of Thomas Jefferson, and the University of Virginia will again be co-sponsoring a workshop on historic landscaping. The grounds of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello will be both the site and the subject of the Historic Landscape Institute's summer workshop "Preserving Jefferson's Gardens and Landscapes." The two-week course, which will run June 6-18 this year, has received high praise from professional gardeners and students of history. Application deadline is April 5, 2004.
