[OUT] Dragonsspine Baronial Arts and Sciences Competition

Calling all Artisans, Scientists, bards and Brewers! Come and join the Barony of Dragonsspine for a relaxed day of Arts and Sciences display and competition. Display your art or science, display your knowledge, and have fun talking and networking with other artisans and scientists.

There are four competitions scheduled for the day: Baronial Champion, Novice (first time entering an A&S), Laurel display, and period mask.  This year we are also focusing on children, there will be a children's classroom having classes geared toward children all day.

Autocrat: Thorsinn Vandringsmann
Email: Vandringsmann@gmail.com

Minimal Documentation is needed for the Period Mask, and Laurel Display. The only documentation needed is what can fit on a 3" by 5" card (what the piece is, what culture/country it is from, what time period it is from, and who the piece belongs to). Of course, if you have lots of documentation and want to bring it, please do!

The Baronial Champion and the Novice competitions will fallow all rules and regulations outlined by the kingdom, available at www.kmoas.outlands.org. Each entrant wishing to compete for overall A&S Champion is required to enter a minimum of two items, in at least two categories. Overall scores will then be tallied and the entrant with the highest overall average will be declared the Champion. In the event of a tie in the averages, the entrant with the highest single score of the two will be declared the winner.

There will be a Brewers Competition of the event!! Please keep in mind you MUST BE 21 or older to participate in the brewing competition or judging. Please contact the autocrats if you have any questions. The Brewing Competition will be hosted off site.

Our outgoing Baronial Bard is looking for his replacement, M'Lord Fear will be hosting a bardic competition throughout the day.

There will also be round table discussions hosted by the peers of Dragonsspine as well as the Dons and Sharp Arrows. There will be classes held as well. If you are interested in teaching or judging please contact the autocrat.
