[MID] Vikings Come Home XIX

The Barony of Donnershafen is pleased to welcome everyone back. The site has changed to Whiting Park.

On Saturday, free breakfast to those who camp and a Lunch Tavern will be available. Pets are welcome! The site is wet and no smoking is allowed in the building. Please do not dig up fire pits. Braziers may be used but there is always the community Viking Bardic Fire! As with all SCA events, everyone must register with Troll and make an attempt at garb. We look forward to seeing you all at Vikings Come Home XIX!!

Troll opens Friday from 6pm-10pm.
It will reopen Saturday from 8am-2pm.
Everyone must be clear of the site by noon on Sunday.

Site Fee
$8 - adults (12+ yrs) / $4 - children (5-12 yrs) / 5 yrs and under - free

Camping Fee
$5 per adult / $2 per child - all weekend

Family Cap
$40 (does not include feast or non-member surcharge)

Non-member surcharge: $5

Feast
$10 per person / Feast is limited to 125 people, and generally sells out prior to the event.
Reservations are on a first come-first served basis, and are only held once paid for.

The site is "wet" and valid ID must be shown at troll.

Coin operated hot showers are available on site, as well as a lake.

There is a child-changing and family bathroom available also.

There will be a community fire pit, but all other fire must be brazier only.

This year we will have a designated family camping area set a bit away from the main camp. However, we cannot guarantee that children will not be exposed to drunken Vikings who like to sing. If you truly wish to be removed from the main camping area, there are camping sites available across the road from the main event for purchase at the campground's individual rates. If anyone chooses to take this option, they will not be charged the event's camping fee.
