It is time again for the Shire of Granholme's annual Pillage, Plunder, Pluck and Poke. We invite you to join us for a day of tournaments, camaraderie and feasting. This year's event will be held at the Villago Park in Casa Grande, Arizona in Ramada D at the back of the park.
The Shire of Granholme will be hosting a hard suit and rapier tournament. There will also be a Youth Combat tournament and bardic competition. Entry into the tournaments will require a donation to the plunder table. This year there will be a Shire donation of $100 gift certificates to Windrose Armoury and Zen Warrior Armory, along with bottles to be filled by Clariandra of Atenvledt's Brewers Guild. Contestants will choose a prize in order of final ranking, ensuring that every participant will walk away with a prize.
An A&S pavilion will be set up for all to display arts and sciences projects.
There will be a heraldry consultation table set up by the Parhelium Herald Mistress Marta as-tu Mika-Mysliwy.
Feast: A main dish is to be provided by the Shire. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Please bring your own feast gear.
Site will open at 10:30 AM and closes at 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 18, 2010.
Park Policy: This is a damp site; NO glass containers. Pets are welcome on a leash and with clean up. Any pavilion stakes should be between 6 and 8 inches, or staked shallow.
Site Fees: Adults with proof of SCA Membership is $5.00. There is a $3.00 Non-Member surcharge. Youth ages 17 and under are free.

Directions: From the I-10 freeway (from the Phoenix area head southbound and from the Tucson area head northbound) get off on Casa Grande exit 185. Head southbound approximately 5 miles down Pinal Ave ( State Highway 93). The park will be on the right hand side of the road. You will need to pass the park and make a U-turn about .10 miles from the site in order to get into the entrance of the site.
