Lord Aylwin de Renham reports that Master Sigmundr Haakonarson was victorious over Baroness Dorothea Weberin in the 2nd Coronet Tourney of the Principality of Insulae Draconis held in the Shire of Eplaheimr in the Kingdom of Drachenwald.
Master Sigmundr was fighting for the honour of his consort, Baroness Sagadis Duncansdottir and entered the list field with nine other fighters.
In the initial final, Baron Clancy Fairchild faced Baroness Dorothea, but was forced to withdraw. A semifinal bout was held between the next pair of fighters to determine who would face Baroness Dorothea, Master Sigmundr and Master Cernac the Inspired, with Master Sigmundr emerging victorious.
He then faced Baroness Dorothea and won two of three bouts.
Master Sigmundr and Baroness Sagadis were crowned by their predecessors, Prince William McBrennan and Princess Aeringunnr Yrsudottir that afternoon. One of their first acts as Prince and Princess was to invest William and Aeringunnr as Viscount and Viscountess Insulae Draconis on behalf of Their Royal Majesties UlfR and Caoimhe, King and Queen of Drachenwald.
