Unto the noble populace of the Sylvan Kingdom of Aethelmearc, does the Shire of Blackwater extend invitation! The Fall Crown Tournament of Their Royal Majesties, Duncan and Ilish, shall take place on October 16, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Firemans Park in Allegany, NY 14706, whereby Their Royal Majesties shall find suitable Heirs to carry Their lineage!
The autocrats for this are Lady Renata l'rouge and Duchess Anna Blackleaf.
In lieu of a traditional feast, the Shire is pleased to offer a bountiful daylong sideboard, prepared by the hand of Lady Aleyd von Kiel, supplemented by special Grillmaster Duke Matthew Blackleaf. All dietary concerns may be sent to Lady Aleyd firstname.lastname@example.org.
As per Their Majesties wishes, this day will celebrate the glory of all things medieval. As such, They have requested that the list be lined only with period galleries and pavilions. There will be space for non-period set-ups behind the immediate list area. Modern conventions should be camouflaged, such as coolers, chair, bottles, etc. If you wish to reserve a spot for your pavilion near the list, please send your space dimensions and notation of whether your tent is period or modern to our reservation clerk, Duchess Anna Blackleaf.
The cost for this event is $10 for adults, $7 for youth ages 17-6, and children 5 and under are considered guests of the Shire. Reservations may be sent to Duchess Anna Blackleaf. Pre-registering for this event will help to ensure that we have adequate food for all. The only good reservation, is a paid reservation. Please make all checks out to Shire of Blackwater, SCA
Inc. The $5 non-member surcharge will be in effect for this event.
For a listing of local amenities, such as hotels and eateries, please contact Lady Renata l'rouge. We are reserving a block of rooms at a close hotel, further information will be forthcoming.
