Tatiana Nikolova-Houston contends that Medieval manuscripts are the hypertexts
of the Middle Ages.
Finding similarities between hypertext web sites and electronic books of today
and medieval manuscripts, Tatiana Nikolova-Houston uses the Byzantine Theodore
Psalter from the 11th century to illustrate her theory. A description of the
psalter with two galleries of illustrations are offered, as well as a
discussion on the aspects of medieval hypertext.
