Evan da Collaureo Served with Writ of Summons

Lord Evan da Collaureo, Kraken Herald and operator of the Squid-pak mailing service, was served with a Writ of Summons. He is to consider becoming a companion of the Order of the Pelican. Lord Evan da Collaureo was served with a Writ of Summons at Stierbach Baronial Investiture this past Saturday, 24 January. In the company of the Order of the Pelican, Evan was commanded to present himself at Ponte Alto Baronial Investiture on 21 February to hear the will and pleasure of the Crown of Atlantia.

Evan presently serves Atlantia as Kraken Herald, a post he has held for some years since stepping down as Golden Dolphin Herald. He also operates the Squid-pak mailing service that provides a US-based duplication and distribution for letters of intent and comment from overseas kingdoms at a considerably lower cost than mailing from Europe and Australia. Several other kingdoms also take advantage of the convenience.

Evan will be part of the new Laurel team taking office this spring. He will rule on armory submissions as Wreath King of Arms.

The Writ of Summons itself was researched by Dom Pedro de Alcazar and Lady Devora bat Shimshon and prepared by Lady Devora. The text is cribbed nearly word for word from a summons to the Archbishop of Canterbury, including the "don't be late" phrase. A scan of the actual Writ can be seen at by clicking on the header.
