[AET] Tournaments Through The Ages

At the Pennsylvania Army National Guard Readiness Center in Cambridge Springs, the warriors heed the call to action while loved ones and well-wishers look on. But tis not the soldier in camo and kevlar who rallies to the trumpets call on this, the 19th day of June. It is the Knight, the Squire, the Viking, the Samurai. With sword and shield, axe and spear, the warriors of centuries past gather at Tournaments Through the Ages in the Shire of Stormsport!

The spacious grounds of the Readiness Center will accommodate heavy fighting in varied forms, thrown weapons and archery.  Space is also available for youth combat and fencing, providing that marshals for these activities are available. To volunteer, please contact the autocrat.

**Please note that the Kingdom Heavy Weapons Championships will conclude the days tournament fighting.

For those interested in gentler pursuits, we are proud to offer a variety of arts and science classes presented by some of the many, talented members of our shire. Once finalized, the class list will be published online. Additional classes are ALWAYS welcome, so please volunteer your time and talent! Contact the autocrat to schedule a class.

Merchants are welcome and encouraged as well. There is no charge to hawk your wares, but arrangements must be made in advance with the autocrat. A limited number of tables are available for merchants' use on a first come first served basis.

Be you fighter, scholar, peddler, or patron, you will no doubt work up an appetite this day! The lovely Mistress Judith of Kirtland is even now preparing a mouth-watering array of food for the all-day sideboard. The sideboard menu will be made available online. Dietary concerns can be
directed to the autocrat. As the site closes early, there will be no feast at this event.

The site opens at 9am and closes at 7pm.

The site fee is $10 for adults, $8 for youth ages 6-17, and children under 5 are free. There will be a $3 non-member surcharge.

Event inquiries and reservations may be directed to the autocrat, Ottilig von Rappoltsweiler  traciewhitney@yahoo.com)
