Local residents of Urvanovo Village, Russia, have discovered a 10th century burial mound. The residents were working on a broken water line on the when they found a variety of metal jewlery.
The jewlery is believed to belong to a well off woman from a Finno-Ugric people. No skeletal remains have been found.
Urvanovo Village is in Vladimir Province and is located half way between Russia and Novgorod. [small photo]
