Roman Treasure Displayed in Basel

Swiss Info: A hoard of Roman treasure, hidden from 4th century raiders, has been reassembled and will be displayed for the first time in Basel, Switzerland. The Augster Museumhefte, Roman treasure hidden over 1600 years ago from Germanic raiders, will soon be on display at the museum of Augusta Raurica, a Roman town in Basel, Switzerland. The treasure consists of 270 pieces including silver platters, utensils and coins.
