AEthelmearc artisans help replace stolen regalia

Dona Illadore de Bedegrayne reports that artisans from the Kingdom of AEthelmearc recently offered gifts from their hands to replace regalia lost when a trailer was stolen in the Kingdom of Ansteorra and the Barony of Namron.

Dona Illadore writes:

Greetings unto the Populace of Aethelmearc!

I am writing to you this day to let you know of the grace and generosity of Aethelmearc, as well as the skill of its artisans and how well our gifts to Ansteorra was received.

As most of you know, the Kingdom of Ansteorra and the Barony of Namron had a terrible loss recently, as some of their regalia was stolen. When our wonderful and amazing Queen heard of this, She put out a call to Aethelmearc to assist with replacing some of the missing regalia.

On Wednesday of Gulf Wars, Aethelmearc came into Ansteorra's court and after a stirring speech from His Majesty, we delivered the following gifts, created and donated by the following people --

Gift basket for Their Majesties Ansteorra - THL Deryk the Archer

Ansteorran Pennon - Duchess Morgen of Rye

Two Barony of Namron flags - Lady Aibell ingen Chernachain

Kneeling pillows for the Kingdom and replacement covers - Lady

Marguerite de Neufschateau

Two beaded presentation pillows - THL Myfanwy ferch Rhiannon

Two Barony of Namron coronets - Lord Reynard le Vavasseur and THL

Gabriel Hawkes. Gabriel also donated yellow linen to the Kingdom.

Large Kingdom Banner -- Baroness Anastasie de Lamoure of Delftwood

500 cookies for the Ansteorran populace - Master Huon Dambriddge

To say that Ansteorra was moved would be an understatement. The Baron of Namron took off the coronet he was wearing and put on one of the new ones and spoke of how this is what the Society was all about. Many, many people, including some of the royalty, got choked up by our Kingdom's generosity and there were definitely some tears.  :)  The Ansteorrans immediately began using the donated regalia and I saw the pennon made by Duchess Morgen flying high above their camp later that evening. Many people came up to me later to give their thanks and to say how fantastic Aethelmearc is and how our King and Queen are amazing. (One direct quote was, "Your royalty rocks!!")

To all who have assisted, including Baroness Marsi who helped with organization, thank you so much. You did your Kingdom and the great Kingdom of Ansteorra a great service. I also apologize if you assisted and I did not name you here -- it has been something of a long week and I may have missed someone.

With much love and affection for my amazing Kingdom,
Always,
Illadore de Bedegrayne
