There will be more than just beer and entertainment - each day will feature a full tourney - so bring your armour!

After tourneys and A & S classes, settle in for an evening of entertainment from the bawdy to the harmonic - this year the Grogs wish any who may to challenge 2008's winners, the Morris Dancers.

Be refreshed by period beverages of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties while feasting in true Mordenvalian style.
Go to sleep in a dorm environment or camp beneath the beautiful Central Coast stars; awakening to a satisfying cooked breakfast to be had while you peruse the wares from our Merchants.

Each gentle will be given the opportunity to vote for their favorite entertainer/s on the night/s; as well as their favorite beverages. A lucky door prize will also be awarded during the festivities.

There will be four prizes awarded on the night.
1st: A lucky door prize for one lucky person.
2nd: A cash prize for the best "alcoholic" brew provided for sampling on the night. (Beer, cider, ginger etc)
3rd: A cash prize for the best "non alcoholic" beverage provided for sampling on the night.
4th: The best entertainment on the night.

You may like to enter one or more of each beverage into the sampling. Brewers will be set up along the back for feasters to ask questions and taste their wares.

Entertainment: there will be half hour slots allocated. At each half hour the herald will announce the next entertainment. To secure your place please email me. There will be a maximum of 8 slots only per evening. So, to secure the spot that you think will capture the most attention please get in early. Types of entertainment can include singing (bawdy/troubadour/minstrel or other), dancing (performing and/or teaching), short play or mummery, recital of play scenes, poetry (own or recital), jester, jugglers and what ever else you wish to suggest to me....

Each person in attendance will be given a score sheet upon arrival which they will be able to fill out with comments and then score their favorite for each category. Prizes will be announced at the closing of the evening.

For any merchants who would like to sell their wares on the Sunday morning please email me to let me know what you wish to sell etc.

Please note that the Scout camp site is a dry site and the only alcohol permitted on site will be the brews entered in the competition and by the brewers. We strongly encourage you to enter and judge the brewing competition, and I have it on good authority that the brewers of Mordenvale have a number kegs on the go! If you are under 18 and found to be drinking we will ask you to leave. It is also an encouraged non smoking venue (no smoking at all in the buildings) so please carry something to dispose butts in and take them off site with you. For any enquiries regarding the consumption of alcohol on site, please contact the steward.

Cheques to be made out to Society for Creative Anachronism Inc. and mailed to PO Box 654, Charlestown. NSW. 2290 with booking. Bookings can also be made by email with payment to follow. Email for bank details if you wish to direct deposit. If you are in hardship please contact us as arrangements can be made. If booking is made but you are a 'no show' at the event then you may be charged for the booking.

Yours in service
