How Monty Python Changed the World

A newly-released autobiography of the famous British comedy troupe chronicles their rise from obscurity to comedy classic and SCA favorite. An entertainment staple of SCAdians everywhere, the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail is but one of many productions by the group. Other credits include a long-running TV show, still in syndication throughout the world, the movies Monty Python's the Life of Brian and Monty Python's the Meaning of Life, numerous live performances, and four audio albums.

Ray Olson of Booklist, a publication of the American Library Association, reviewed the book and said, "The six men who were Monty Python get billed above the guy who put together this coffee-table tome on their achievement, but this is film critic and broadcaster Bob McCabe's book. ... [T]he oral history purveyed is genuinely fascinating, so that this is no mere browser's delight but a readable book."
