Location: Blue Springs Scout Reserve, 14009,6th Line Nassagaweya, near Acton (Halton Hills), Ontario
Hours: Opens 8 PM Friday, closes Noon Sunday (over night stay for contestants only).
Site Fee for those checking in to compete in Cloth of Gold, on Friday night: $35 CAD (this includes a hot breakfast, lunch, and drinks and snacks during the night)
Site Fee for those day tripping on Saturday: $12 CAD (including tithe), Plus $3 CAD Non-Member Surcharge as applicable

The Competition
Each team of no more than 8 members have 18 hours to make a complete outfit, from underclothes to outerwear and accessories. A Fashion Show/Show-and-Tell will take place at 3:30 pm where the outfits will be judged and a winner will be declared.

Because of the intense nature of this event, any team members travelling any kind of significant distance are encouraged to arrange for crash space and/or have a driver not on the team drive you home. Bunks are available in the Lodge for sleeping on a first come first serve basis only, a maximum of 45 spots available. When registering a team be sure to advise if your team would like lodging or of your intent to camp (you provide the camping gear). We schedule this event to end reasonably early on Saturday so that the teams can pack up and travel home Sunday and still have some time to sleep it off then travel home safely.
