[CAL] RUSH: Medieval Mindset

How would our medieval counterparts have thought about the world and their place in it? What would an educated person living during SCA period know about the world?

This is the idea behind the Medieval Mindset RUSH, a full day of classes on science, ethics, education and faith during the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Food: The Shire of Amlesmore will provide an inn for lunch. Fast food and restaurants are also nearby. The Prince Amleth Inn will be serving lunch from 11:30 to 2ish. The inn will be offering a new way to get your lunch. You may pre-pay for lunch at troll. Then when the inn opens, you may skip the cashier & go directly to the food line.

Those who plan to attend the Luncheon Roundtable at 12:30 should pre-pay for their lunch so that we may offer a quick, unobtrusive table service at the roundtable.

We will offer a meal deal & ala carte.

Luncheon Roundtable: A roundtable discussion is scheduled during lunch. The panel will look at popular myths about the medieval era and why they aren’t true. The discussion will begin around 12:30 pm, giving most people time to get their lunch (if they haven't pre-paid).
