[EAS] Herne the Hunter IX

Come one and all to Seashire's Annual Event Herne the Hunter on November 28, 2009 at the St. James Anglican Church!

Herne has gone out hunting and captured his game. The King and Queen are coming to sample the Venison and partake of the day's festivities.

There shall be Youth Combat, the Annual Herne the Hunter Rattan Tournament and Heralding Competition (hire your herald soon, the good ones get snapped up early), Dancing, Royal Court at their Majesties whim, a silent and called auction for the Northern Shores Royal Travel Fund* and a sumptuous feast!

*Please note that the Northern Shores Royal Travel Fund is NOT a sanctioned SCA fundraiser, but is a private endeavour undertaken by Mistress Gavlinne and Mistress Gwenhwyfar. The NSRTF is a not-for-profit project, and all funds raised are used for EK Royal travel expenses to the Northern Shores Region.

The Youth Combat will be a practice. What this means is that all youth ages 6 to 17 may participate even if they have never done youth combat before, and especially those who have not been able to authorize. Loaner gear will be available, those who have not had a chance to try will be given "first dibs".
